One of the best and most cost effective ways to gain more usable space in your house is converting a garage or outbuilding… And this post shows why!

We recently refurbished this out house / garage which had not seen much love over decades!
We transformed this in to a completely usable space and addition to the home!
Check out the before and after pictures to see the difference!

Completely stripped out, rewired, insulation added, newly boarded and plastered, screeded floor, new double glazed door and window, new woodwork, new flooring and redecorated.

Ready for the client to use as perfect usable space. We’ve done many over the last couple of years turning dead spaces in to gyms, offices, playrooms, bars, etc.

Here’s another job completed a few weeks back in Woodford Green, Essex.

This was a refurbishment of the majority of the ground floor including the hallway and through lounge.
Lots of bespoke carpentry work included in this job such as a new media wall with bespoke made cabinetry and under shelf lighting, additional bespoke made cupboards for extra storage and under stairs storage!
We also laid a new herringbone floor throughout, new radiators, new woodwork including stairs, skirting and doors as well as completely painted throughout!

Here’s a kitchen / diner knock through we completed last week in South Woodford, East London.

We removed supporting wall that was separating the existing kitchen and dining room, we also removed a chimney breast within the dining room to allow for the new kitchen to be repositioned on that wall as well as 2 small supporting walls under the stair case to open up the room…
We also made the window opening a lot larger to let in more light as well as changed the windows and doors.
We then plastered the entire room, kitchen fitted from Howdens with a small island / breakfast bar, engineered wood flooring laid which we run through to the hallway and front room as well new skirtings, doors and wood work!

A complete refurbishment of the entire ground floor which completely changed the usability of the house and another happy customer!

The before and after pictures show wha a massive difference a wall removal can do for a kitchen / living space!

Here’s plenty of photos from a rear single story extension we completed earlier on this year!

The rear was extended approx 40 sq. metres to allow for a large kitchen / diner, separate lounge / play room, down stairs toilet, office and utility.

So may great features were added to this extension including the bespoke hand made kitchen, black windows and doors including the stunning up and over glass feature, wall panelling throughout the hallway, herringbone engineered flooring, bespoke made bar area and cabinetry, solid wood doors and the list goes one!

A great job to work on, superb finishing touches chosen by the client and a lot of hard work but most certainly worth it to see the finished article!

Complete bathroom refurbishment we completed recently in Woodford Green, Essex.

A slight change up in layout which works a whole lot better than the previous set up and makes the room feel bigger and more spacious!

The blue cabinetry, blue patterned floor tile and blue feature tile in the shower really make it pop!

Blue is the new grey!

Here’s a kitchen and downstairs toilet refurbishment we completed a few weeks back in Chadwel Heath, Essex.

A complete refurb from top to bottom which including rewiring, re plumbing, plastering, tiling, flooring, woodwork as well as fitting the new kitchen. We also managed to squeeze in a breakfast bar area towards the back of the kitchen as well as renovating the downstairs toilet!

Absolutely love this 2 tone kitchen with the added bits of colour on the chairs, splashback and pictures to set it off.

Here’s a full refurb we done a while back in Seven Kings, Essex for one of our landlord clients.

We haven’t got round to posting quite a few jobs over the past year so am going through them over the next week or so. Plenty of refurbs and extensions as well as smaller jobs completed in the last 12 months! It’s been non stop!

Check out the before and after pictures on this one! It was in a bit of a state after being neglected for many years and was in much need of a complete make over.

We recently finished a whole house refurbishment in Upminster, Essex which Icluded a full rewire, replumb, boiler reposition, new ceilings, structural work, plaster top to bottom, new flooring throughout, new windows, all new woodwork, stairs, kitchen, bathroom and everything in between!

Here’s the 3 bedrooms and first floor hallway from the job. All 3 bedrooms included fitted wardrobes with a spray finish on them.

Here’s a large kitchen extension we completed not so long ago! We added on two small extensions, one to the rear to square the house off and allow for a raised patio and bifolds across the back. The other to the side to allow for a utility room and slightly larger kitchen

Finished with Amtico flooring, DIY kitchen, colomn radiators, underfloor heating, external porcelain tiles, pocket door to utility, granite worktop and whole house also rendered.

Completed start to finish including all building, internal, windows and external work.

We recently completed a full refurbishment of a property in Upminster, Essex.

Here’s the living room refurbishment which included building these bespoke alcove units / shelving and fire surround.
Newly plastered, new door hung, new radiator, new electrics, floor refurbished and redecorated.

A proper cozy living room!
