Protex Pest Control Services have been busy with bird netting, closing off an external staircase to keep birds out of the area. 👏

Using PestFix netting and fixings, the staircase has been fully enclosed while keeping the structure accessible.

Nice work team. Thanks for sharing!

Bed bugs made the news this weekend after being found in the drivers’ cabs of two trains.

Southeastern had to cancel several services and the affected trains were taken out of service for inspection.

Bed bugs are usually associated with bedrooms and hotels, but they can travel on clothing, bags and belongings, meaning anywhere with a regular flow of people can be affected.

Stay vigilant, know the signs and act quickly if you suspect bed bug activity before it has the chance to develop into a bigger problem and disrupt your business.

Read the full story from the BBC:

Southeastern said the insects were discovered in drivers' cabs, with the trains removed for cleaning.

are Highly Commended in our September Photo of the Month! 👏

Their huge 4,700m² bird netting project in Avonmouth has been quite the job!

We’ve been following this one from the early stages, and it’s been great to see the netting gradually make its way across the roof.

A brilliant finished result from the team.

Glad we could supply the netting and materials for this one. 🐦
