Even is wild about flowering gingers!

Did you see this weeks featured them this week as Monty pots his pots up?!

We have a few different varieties of hydichiums that we will be showcasing in our show garden at . We were supplied them from the national collection holder in Sussex as part of the charity .

Morning 1 of build at , and we have our plot!

I think we have visited every nursery along the south coast!

Our final one was a local which Briony worked at about 8 years ago so she got to reminisce and coo over the jobs she used to do!

Luckily we have got everything sorted, packed, prepped and sent off. Tomorrow now involves a very very early start!

Not quite a farewell… but definitely a strange feeling 🌿

After months of planning, painting, cutting, planting, packing and problem-solving… everything is finally loaded up and ready to head to Birmingham next week for BBC Gardeners’ World Live.

Seeing the workspace suddenly empty and knowing The Heart of the Jungle now exists in vans, crates and carefully packed plants feels very surreal.

There’s still a huge amount of work ahead, but honestly? We’re just incredibly excited to finally start building this garden for real 🌴

Now all we need to survive is the 4am drive from West Sussex to the NEC 😅🚐

Next stop… build week 👀
