A beautiful transformation ✨
This matching pair of traditional armchairs arrived with us in their original floral upholstery, ready for a completely fresh look.
They have now been expertly reupholstered in this striking mustard botanical fabric, with careful attention paid to the pattern placement, piping and every finishing detail. The result is a brighter, more contemporary pair of chairs while retaining all the character of the original furniture.
Good-quality furniture doesn’t always need replacing. With skilled reupholstery and the right choice of fabric, it can be completely transformed and enjoyed for many more years.
If you have a chair, sofa or other piece of furniture that deserves a new lease of life, please send us a photograph for a quotation.
📩 Message us directly to discuss your project.

When the space gives you a challenge, you don’t work around it you build the solution properly.
This bespoke seating installation was completed for a project at The O2 Arena, with the brief requiring a custom seating unit built around one of the venue’s large structural support columns.
A standard seating solution simply wouldn’t work here. The column ran directly through the centre of the area, meaning every part of the seating had to be carefully measured, manufactured, upholstered and installed to fit the space.
The result is a clean, practical and hard-wearing commercial seating feature, finished in black upholstery with vertical fluted detailing around the centre surround.
This is exactly the type of work Smallwood Interior Designs is built for.
Bespoke commercial seating.
Made-to-measure upholstery.
Problem spaces turned into finished features.
