🧡🖤 We Just Had to Finish It Off! 🖤🧡

A slightly different post from us today! 🚙💥

We loved the new wrap on our pickup so much that we decided it needed one final touch… the bonnet had to be done too! 😍

We think it brings the whole look together and makes the R&A pickup feel complete! 🚜🔥

A massive thank you again to CJ Signs for sorting us out and helping bring our vision to life. The finished result looks spot on! 👌

What do you think of the finished look? Have we made the right call getting the bonnet wrapped too? 👀👇

🚜 Just a Small One Today… 😂 🚜

A bit of a job and a half today!

First up, we dug a trench for a new water pipe and electric cable to a shepherd’s hut. 💧⚡

It wasn’t exactly the best start when we discovered the electric mains running right where we needed our rear trench to go! 😬 But we got over that hurdle and carried on carefully.

Then it was straight onto another trench for a new toilet connection into the existing septic tank — with only 110m of trench to dig! 😂

Can think of worse places to spend the day though! 🌳🚜

A challenging one, but another job completed and another happy customer. 👌

🚜 Awkward Job in Bakewell Yesterday! 🚜

A challenging one in Bakewell yesterday with limited access and granite making things interesting! 😅

The property was suffering with damp, so we dug a trench all the way around the property, taking it down as deep as the granite would allow us to go. 💪

Not the easiest ground to work with, but we got stuck in and completed the job to the customer’s satisfaction. 👌

🚜 Job Completed – Glapwell 🚜

Another project completed and another happy customer! 💪

This job involved creating a brand-new two-tier garden to make the most of the available space.

The work carried out included:

✔️ Forming a two-tier stepped garden layout
✔️ Extending the upper level by approximately 4 feet
✔️ Extending the lower level by approximately 9 feet
✔️ Reusing the existing soil and clay to raise the lower section by around 4 feet
✔️ Levelling and tracking in all material to create a solid, compact base ready for the customer to build a structural sleeper retaining wall
✔️ Pulling back existing paving at the front of the ramp and shed, ready for a new concrete base

A great transformation with everything now prepared for the next stage of the project. We look forward to seeing the finished result! 👌

🏡✨ Project Complete – Pomegranate Road ✨🏡

After returning over the past couple of weeks, we’re delighted to share the finished result of this fantastic garden transformation.

Here’s what we completed:

✔️ Installed sleeper borders around the garden
✔️ Built a raised patio using stone blocks
✔️ Prepared and laid the base for a new garden office
✔️ Built a bespoke pergola on site, with all timber shaped and finished using routed edges
✔️ Installed four 6” timber posts, securely set in concrete
✔️ Added black slate edging for a smart finishing touch
✔️ Cut and laid 600mm x 900mm cream porcelain paving around the pergola, including rounded front edges and water drip grooves
✔️ Replaced the existing paving outside the bi-fold doors with matching porcelain slabs
✔️ Fully grouted, cleaned, and left ready for the customer to enjoy.

This has been a fantastic project to work on from start to finish, and we’re really pleased with the final result. We’d like to thank our customer for choosing R&A Digger Hire and we hope they enjoy their new outdoor space for years to come. 👏
