Did you know that we are a zero-waste building company?

We are extremely conscious when it comes to waste materials from our projects. The team are continually developing new products are services so that we can re-use all of our waste materials.

Ensuring our waste is kept to an absolute zero is highly important to us. One of the main motivators behind switching to timber over bricks and blocks is due to the mining process required to manufacture these products. Also, the waste that comes from building in "traditional" means.

Every inch of our timber extensions and garden rooms is hand-crafted in Derbyshire. The attention to detail is second to non, which makes us one of the most unique timber frame builders in the world.

We have chosen to stay away from large machinery in order to minimise our energy usage. This also ensures that one of our team members has personally and carefully crafted every single part of your build.

This choice of quality over quantity does mean that slightly more man-hours are needed to craft our projects. However, we are still able to completely build an average extension within 5 working days. We can then fully install our extensions onsite within 4-5 days.

The benefits of a timber frame structure are endless. They are quicker, cheaper and easier to install. Our frame design offers increased thermal properties by using an extensive insulation system.

This increased insulation not only makes it more cost-effective to heat during the winter months, but it also is easier to keep cool during the summer months. Having a more stable temperature throughout the year makes your new True Timba space more energy efficient.

We didn't rush to launch a product that would just meet building regulations, we wanted to exceed it. Surpassing any compromise in thermal properties.

Did you know that at True Timba, we are passionate about building for the future? Ensuring that our projects are as sustainable as possible but also planting 100x trees for each project we complete.

This ensures we perform as a carbon-natural construction firm by planting significantly more trees than our projects require. Our timber is sustainably sourced, which means our suppliers are also proactively planting trees. However, in order to further invest in the future of our planet and off-set our projects we plant the additional 100x tress.

Our clients can select where in the world they would like trees planted and will receive a certificate for their donation. Throughout the lifespan of the trees, this offsets up to 367 tonnes of CO2e. One tonne of CO2 is equivalent to driving a petrol car for 5,000 miles. The 100x trees planted for each project will remove the equivalent of CO2 produced from driving a total of 1,835,000 miles.

In addition to planting trees and using sustainable materials for our projects, we are continually developing ways of driving our business forward. All while ensuring the protection of our environment and working towards a brighter future for everyone.

Welcome to True Timba. We are excited to be formally launching production of our timber frame extensions within the next couple of weeks.

After two years of development, we are driven to drastically improve the way in which UK dwellings are produced sustainably and efficiently. Our passion for sustainability and achieving a carbon-neutral construction is finally live. We have fine-tuned a method of building in the UK that is not only significantly more sustainable but offers drastically increased energy efficiency, but we are able to build them within just 5 days. This huge decrease in time of site offers our clients much quicker build times but also significant savings on their project.

While our new production space is being kitted out and ready for our first scheduled project we are open to discuss all your project requirements. Our expert team are available to explore how our method of building can save you time and money. We look forward to sharing updates as the factory comes together over the next couple of weeks.
