UK Asbestos Training Association Ltd

UK Asbestos Training Association Ltd UKATA sets standards in asbestos training and ensures that its members meet those standards. https: UKATA provides a quality standard for that training.

It is legal requirement that all who may come across asbestos in their day to day work have been provided with asbestos awareness training. If they will intentionally work on asbestos they must have had appropriate training specific to the tasks they will undertake. Any organisation that allows builders or maintenance personnel onto their premises should ensure that they have evidence of asbestos

awareness training. When asbestos is to be worked upon deliberately, using a UKATA member to provide that training ensures that the training provider has the facilities, knowledge and experience to properly undertake that training.

🏇 UKATA attends Mesothelioma UK Race Day

UKATA had a fantastic day at Mesothelioma UK’s Race Day at Leicester Racecourse last week, coming together with others in the industry for a memorable afternoon of racing, fundraising and community spirit.

The event combined live racing, a two-course buffet and charity raffle in support of those affected by mesothelioma. There were a few wins and losses on the track, plenty of laughs and even some sunshine to round off the day.

UKATA is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of Mesothelioma UK and remains committed to supporting its vital work.
