THE MENU DE JOINERY IS OPEN 🔨

Not every job needs to be a full bespoke furniture project.

Need a door hanging? Skirting replacing? Shelves putting up? A new window board? Worktops fitting? Or just a piece of timber cut and planed properly?

We've put together our Menu de Joinery — a straightforward list of common joinery jobs, with clear prices so you've got a good idea what things cost before you even contact us.

And because we've got our own fully equipped workshop in Backford, we can also help with things you won't get from someone turning up with just a toolbox — cutting, planing, edgebanding, custom mouldings and more.

And if it's not on the menu, just ask.

Serving Chester and surrounding areas.

Have a look at the full menu on our website, or send us a message with a photo of what you need.

🪚 WE’RE EXPANDING! 🔨

Things are getting a little busier at Davies & Foster — and not just with fitted furniture!

Over the coming months, we’re expanding the range of joinery services we offer and putting our workshop, machinery and years of experience to even more use.
First up is our door trimming & adjustment service. It’s something we’ve been doing for existing customers for years, but never advertised.

And this is only the start. We’ll soon be advertising more services including doors, gates, kitchens, staircases, wall panelling, outdoor joinery and more, all alongside the bespoke fitted furniture we’re known for.

Basically, if it involves wood, there’s a fairly good chance we can help. 🪵😂

Keep an eye on the page as we roll out the new services — or if you’ve already got something in mind, drop us a message!

A pair of bespoke alcove cabinets designed to sit comfortably within the architecture of the room.

Painted shelving with integrated lighting adds depth to the alcoves, while the lower cupboards provide concealed storage below. We also made the panelling around the fireplace to tie the whole composition together.

A calm, balanced piece that works with the room rather than competing with it.

Designed by and made by our team in Chester.
