Electrician Required - Short-Term Cover (3 Months) - Wolverhampton EfW Facility

Chester Sparks Electrical Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to provide temporary cover for the next 3 months at a Energy from Waste (EfW) facility in Wolverhampton.

Key details:
Duration: 3 months (immediate/near-term start preferred)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (40 hours/week)
Pay: Rate Negotiable (based on experience)
Location: Wolverhampton EfW facility
Essential requirements: Proven industrial electrical experience (ideally in heavy industrial, manufacturing, or energy/waste-to-energy environments). Must be fully qualified and hold relevant certifications.
This is a great opportunity to work on a key industrial site with a professional team, focusing on maintenance and support in a busy EfW operation.

We are expanding and looking for a reliable, skilled Domestic Electrician to join our growing team.

Chester Sparks delivers high-quality electrical work across residential, commercial and industrial sectors, with a strong focus on safety, compliance and professionalism. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in neat work and doing jobs properly the first time.

✅ Role includes:
• Full & partial rewires
• Consumer unit upgrades
• Fault finding & repairs
• EICRs & testing
• EV charger installs (training available)
• General domestic installations & maintenance
• Working independently and occasionally alongside a small team

✅ Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition (BS 7671)
• 2391 Inspection & Testing (or working towards) preferred
• ECS/Gold Card preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Good customer manner & tidy workmanship
• Able to work across the North West & surrounding areas

Role Overview

You will be working across a variety of projects including:
• Industrial installations & maintenance
• Commercial electrical works
• Domestic electrical works
• Testing, inspection & fault finding
• General electrical installation work to a high standard

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:
✅ NVQ Level 3 / Approved Electrician status
✅ JIB Gold Card
✅ 18th Edition (BS7671)
✅ 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
✅ Proven experience in industrial, commercial and domestic environments
✅ Full UK driving licence
✅ Willingness to travel/work anywhere in the UK (including occasional nights away)
