Warm Roof or Cold Roof? 👀

We installed an Ultra Roof by Ultraframe today, and it got me thinking…

Some installers say these systems are over-engineered and too complicated. Others reckon they’re one of the easiest and quickest flat roof systems to fit.

Personally, I think they’re an absolute dream to install. Everything goes together well, the build process is straightforward, and for me it’s right up there as one of the best systems on the market.

But that’s just my view…

🔩🚧 SCREW DAY 🚧🔩

Today was all about driving giant ground screws into the earth with our massive screw guns 💪🌍 Each one can handle up to 3 tonnes of pressure, creating the perfect foundation for our Hup Base system 🏗️🔥

And to make the day even better… we got treated to brownie cakes 🍫😋 Site fuel at its finest!

Another home extension underway and this one is going to look incredible once finished ✨🏡 Stay tuned and follow along as we bring this project to life 👀🎥

New week, new modular home build project!
Things are progressing well, and we’re pleased to confirm the ground testing with the Great British Ground Screw Company was a success, giving us the green light for installation.

All ground screws are now installed, with the HUP extensions coming next.

Started working at 14 selling cheese on Chester Market. Lied about my age just to get a chance to work. Every weekend, every school holiday while most kids were off, I was learning how to deal with customers and earn my own money.

At 16 I got my first apprenticeship and spent years on the tools, but I always wanted more for myself. By 18 I was already planning how to build and promote my own brand.

People say “you’ve done well,” but what they don’t see is the time, pressure, sacrifice and consistency behind it. I’ve put more into my career since being a teenager than some people put in over a lifetime.

Life’s changed a lot over the years. These days success looks different to me more time with family while still doing what I love.

And sometimes… it only has to make sense to you. 🫶🏼✊🏼

Welcome to preparation day 👷‍♂️🚧

Today is all about getting the groundwork and drainage ready before the ground screws and base installation begins. A huge amount of planning, preparation, and attention to detail goes into every project to make sure everything is completed to the highest standard before the main build even starts.

Behind the scenes, there’s also plenty of paperwork, planning, and coordination with the manufacturing team to ensure every detail is correct and each project is fully prepared before installation day. Careful preparation at every stage helps the whole process run smoothly from start to finish 💪
