Whoa, dudes. We need to have a serious reality check about horses and fencing today because some of the stuff I'm hearing is wild. 🤦‍♂️
​First off: I don't care if you just built the most pristine, brand-new fence on the planet. If a half-ton animal decides to lean its entire body weight on it to reach one shiny blade of grass, that fence is going down. Wood snaps, man! A new fence isn't some magical forcefield. I've got four horses of my own, and trust me, dudes, they will test everything. If they want to push on it, it's breaking.
​Second: Where are people getting these crazy budget ideas? No, you absolutely cannot fence a 3-acre field for £400. Are you kidding me? Do the math, man! The posts, the rails, the wire, the gates... the materials alone for a perimeter that size will blow right past £400 before you even start digging holes.
​Seriously guys, understand how horses actually work and look up the price of timber before spouting nonsense. End of rant. 🐴💸🚧
