Our first school project of 2026. This school has now booked us in for work spread out over the whole year. Each school holiday our team will be working alongside the school to complete a huge amount of work.
For this to happen it requires lots of pre planning and organisation. We have worked out a new paint spec using the latest products, we will be providing access for difficult to reach areas and working to a tight timeframe.
This is all achievable when you use the right contractor. All our staff are DBS certified and we provide full H&S documentation complying with every need you have.

Today we have completed our care home in Kingston. We started this October last year so it’s been a lot of work. Alongside this we are also doing another home in Weybridge for the same company that will keep us busy till September. Dealing with these large projects require lots of planning and consideration as the homes are in constant use.
We have carried out work in lots of difficult environments and always make it work. All our staff are DBS registered which is a must when having contractors in your home or business. We had nearly 2 week’s preparation in this hallway before we even picked up a paintbrush. We did this project 13 years ago and now back doing it again. A real stunning house with some really quirky features. Our client wanted a very high standard but wanted to keep the character so it was a really nice one for us to do.
Hours of prep work using dustless sanding tools to keep the dust to a minimum. Finished with a mix of , . We will be returning in a couple of weeks to do several of the en suites, kitchen, dining room and utility.

We are ready to begin another year ! Last year we covered so many jobs and feel like as always we are learning along the way. Having been in business now over 50 years we feel it’s important not to be complacent. New products, tools and techniques are always helping us to improve our finish.

This week we have had a customer who wanted a hand painted kitchen. A really nice space and layout which has now had a new lease of life. Preparation was as crucial as ever and we kept everything tidy using our dustless sanders and extractors. Everything was finished with . We have been carrying out work for this customer for the last 5 years, they have very high standards and expectations. On this recent external redecoration we had extensive preparation to make sure we achieved a real high end finish. The previous decoration works had failed, paint peeling in various locations and parts missed. It looks like it had had minimal preparation and only 1 coat. Shortcuts like this will never stand up to the test of time.
We have sanded everything back using power tools. Taking the last coat of paint completely off and stripping the sills back to bare. Then everything was treated with Stormshield paints. We primed all bare & filler areas, then painted with 1 full coat of primer, 1 undercoat and 1 Gloss leaving a glass like finish. All lower rails and sills got an extra coat of gloss to ensure maximum protection.
These doors won’t need looking at again for ages, a quality job done the right way by the team at Rainbow Painting Contractors 🌈 .
