Sad to see this come down. A tree with great sentimental value to the client that we reduced last year to help with excess weight on the two stems. Sadly the base of the tree rotted out a lot faster than we expected and the decision was made to remove the tree and to replant at a later stage. 🌳✂️🪓 on the positive side the new ms300 is an absolute ripper!

Not a pleasant days work with the heat. Made slightly harder with a much longer route because of some parked cars blocking the other route. Fair play to Joe, Dom and Zeko it didn’t bother them and they got this tree taken out with no fuss and in good time too 26” diameter Oak hauled out in the heat🥵💪🌳🪓

This Cherry tree in Ottershaw wasn’t looking too happy. Quoted in dormant phase - we arrived on Friday to a struggling looking Cherry. We changed the spec slightly and opted to take less off the tree and a complete deadwood in hope this tree rejuvenates. Plenty of water going forward.

How many ropes do you want on one branch? Bank Holiday Monday last week brought us to this Sycamore located next to what’s usually a very busy road. Having seen the tree on Friday we arrived on Monday - luckily having the lack of rush hour traffic due to the bank holiday. We tied up the limb as precaution in case it would break at source, letting us take as much weight out as we can that was not under any tension or compression. We then worked out that the limb would break off its collar, so removed enough of that wood for the limb to hang above, while not hitting the fence. It was then a case of removing the tensioned wood wedged into a neighbouring tree and lowering the limb down safely. The tree was down safe by 9:30am with zero disruption to traffic.

Not an easy climb getting out to parts of this Holm Oak but the effort was worth the final result 🌳✂️
