The matching low maintenance front garden 👌

Over 400 charcoal kerbstones were used to retain the decorative stone and create 4 symmetrical borders.

A raised sleeper planter defines the boundary with the neighbours garden and it’s all finished with black ice cobbles. Colours complement the house beautifully!

I can’t wait to go back and see this full of plants and colour 🤩

When the customers vision really is turned into reality👌

The brief was a low maintenance, usable space that can be used all year round 🤔

So the design incorporated 2 patios to negate the slight slope and maximise the sunshine at the top of the garden. 2 raised planters, artificial grass and a stepping stone path link the garden together whilst the triangular pergola adds shade and height.

This was a particularly challenging build in the heat but it was definitely worth it! What a transformation!

We also completed the front garden whilst we were here so look out for our next post…….

Composite decking can transform any area into a modern, useable space to be enjoyed all year round and this one is no different as the customer will be adding a metal pergola over the top.

Therefore the frame has been reinforced to take the additional weight and ensure the fixings are secure 👌

Whilst we were here, we were also asked to help design other elements of the garden that we will be starting in October so watch this space for further updates……

I’ve not posted much recently as we’ve been extremely busy completing a number of projects before some much needed rest and some time off with the kids 👌

Before that though, it was great to transform this unused space into a 30m2 patio that blends seamlessly into the original decking steps!

The colours of this Fernlea Raj sandstone complement the existing garden beautifully and provide a flat, versatile space that can be used for a multitude of things.

Another patio completed so that this amazing weather can be enjoyed ✅

When the customer wants a ‘zero’ maintenance garden and has already tried using some decorative stone 🤔

Using a tiered approach, we have been able to create 3 levels that now holds the new stone in place and creates some interest.

Steps and small path have been replaced with new Indian sandstone and the sleepers filled with golden flint decorative stone to complete the transformation!

Gardens are very personal and unique spaces that have different requirements for different people and it’s great to have created a space that has fulfilled this customers needs 👍

It may have been a little warm 🥵 but that hasn’t stopped us completing this amazing garden transformation!

Sleeper retaining wall had previously been completed so it was our job to add the new Rasa grey porcelain patio with matching path and steps and what a difference 👌

It feels like grey porcelain is this only material that we are using at the moment but you can see why it is such a popular choice!

Finished with black ice decorative stone to complete the modern design.

When you’re laying a patio for a friend and he does all the groundwork’s so all you have to do is lay the tiles 👌

50m2 in 4 1/2 days was tough going but we got it finished ready for this amazing weather 🌞

We’re doing a lot of light grey porcelain and you can see why as the end result is stunning!

On to the next grey porcelain patio

A selection of smaller jobs recently completed starting with a small patio extension.

Having completed some work in the front garden last year, we were asked to extend this already extended patio further to provide a more useable space.

It is always difficult to match existing slabs due to age and weathering but we managed to source the original slabs to match as best we could.

Last week we were back in the Chepstow to extend a patio that we completed in October 24.

Customers wanted an additional seating area and had laid some left over slabs as a temporary measure so they could enjoy the sunshine until we started.

Replicating the stepping stone path, border tiles and colour scheme from the other side has added a new space with easy access that can be enjoyed all year round!

A simple patio extension that creates a big impact!
