Costner Lane our Quantity Surveyor!

Costner's role as a quantity surveyor includes project cost planning, procurement and contract administration. He communicates closely with our clients and sub contractors to deliver maximum value and optimal results.

Qualifications and Experience:
- First-Class BSc in quantity surveying and commercial management
- Several years experience working across residential, multi-residential, commercial and public sector projects including a stint on the Gold coast Light Rail Stage 3 Project
- Cost management, tendering and contract administration on residential developments from up to 10m+

What do you like to do outside work?
'I like to keep fit and active. CrossFit is a big part of that, but I also play golf when I can. It's a great way to switch off and helps me stay focused when I'm at work.'

what do you like about your role?
'I enjoy having the autonomy to run my own workload and make decisions. I also enjoy building relationships with clients and supply chain partners, alongside working closely with the Project Manager, for a successful project. The team in the office couldn't be more helpful; the culture here is very supportive.'

What began as 2 commercial units has been transformed into 4 modern two-bedroom terrace houses.
This project was a major structural reinstatement and complete comprehensive refurbishment using the existing foundation as a template to introduce party walls and rear single story and kitchen extensions.

List of works:
- Party walls
- Rear kitchen and single story extensions
- Landscaped rear gardens
- New staircases
- Roof repairs to plot 1 & 2
- Major roof restructuring to plot 3 & 4
- Updated drainage systems
- New electrics and plumbing
- Construction warrantee sign off
- SAP and building regulation assessments
- Building control compliance and inspections

Every element was carefully considered to take the existing buildings and turn it into high quality contemporary living spaces.

Walk through our latest warehouse redevelopment project!

This project is a comprehensive internal renovation alongside a partial external refurbishment, transforming this warehouse into a functional commercial space.

Downstairs will feature:
- Two office suites
- One conference room
- WC facilities

The first floor featuring:
- Four office suites
- Kitchen common area

We're excited to bring this space to life and can't wait to share more progress with you!

Follow along with the commencement of this rear ground floor and first floor extension project, designed to expand the existing kitchen and create an ensuite for the master bedroom!

The scope of works also includes: re-rendering of external walls and minor internal demolition works. 🔨

The foundation excavation is currently underway and we look forward to sharing more progress.

Exciting day with the new roof going on our offices. It’s been a long time coming. With planning being approved two weeks ago we are now ready for a full refurbishment and modernisation of our warehouse into a modern office.
