Sometimes it’s not the roof that’s the problem … it’s the installation

This customer contacted us after noticing ongoing issues with their EPDM flat roof. Once we lifted the existing EPDM, the cause was obvious. The previous installer had laid the rubber straight over the existing timber with no plywood decking, leaving exposed nails and uneven boards underneath

Over time, this caused pressure points, movement, and a roof that was destined to fail

Our team carried out a full roof replacement, including:

⭐️ Removing the old EPDM
⭐️ Installing brand-new plywood decking to create a solid, even base.
⭐️ Removing all protruding nails and damaged timber.
⭐️ Fitting a new, fully bonded EPDM rubber roof.
⭐️ Completing all edge trims and details for a professional, watertight finish.

The customer now has a flat roof that’s built to industry standards and designed to withstand the elements for many years to come
