. Completed in December 2024, CF Roberts's Hotel Division played a key role in the refurbishment programme at the 338 bedroom Marriott Hotel in Manchester.

The works encompassed both guest bedrooms and a wide range of communal areas such as meeting rooms, gym, great room, restaurant and ball room, bringing all up to the new Marriot brand standards.

Delivering both Mechanical and Electrical services, the project highlights the versatility and expertise of our workforce. The team succesfully modified and adapted existing systems while installing new infrastructure within newly constructed areas, creating a fully integrated and cohesive building services solution throughout the hotel.

Our September internal Health & Safety Campaign focuses on housekeeping, closely aligned with our second Core Value: “We are Guests” on our clients’ sites.

Good housekeeping is essential to maintaining a safe, professional working environment. Poor housekeeping on construction sites can lead to trips, falls, injuries, damaged equipment and other serious incidents.

That’s why we make sure we:
• Keep worksites clean and free from debris.
• Use appropriate storage containers for consumables.
• Ensure panels, covers and protective measures are securely in place.
• Store and use hazardous materials correctly, with appropriate PPE.
• Follow our Method Statements and established safe systems of work.
• Regularly inspect our work areas, addressing hazards immediately.
• Keep tools in good working condition and store them correctly when not in use.
• Incorporate our clients’ housekeeping requirements into our daily routines.
• Ensure all CFR Engineers complete the required site inductions.

Through industry-leading training, digital H&S reporting and robust internal auditing, we continue to put safety at the heart of everything we do.

. Recently completed in August 2025, CF Roberts were delighted to be awarded the Electrical & Mechanical contract for the comprehensive office refurbishment to Powys County Council's Pump House office space.

The project involved both aesthetic improvements and critical infrastructure upgrades to modernise work and break out spaces creating a more efficient, secure, and future-ready environment for staff.
