🔧 Another project underway!

We’re pleased to be working alongside midlandsbm on this new 5-bedroom house.

This week we’ve been getting started on the first fix soil and waste pipework, making sure everything is installed neatly, securely and with plenty of attention to detail.

Getting the plumbing right at this stage is all about creating a solid installation that will perform reliably for years to come. 💪🏼

More progress to come as this project takes shape! 🏠

🔧 Another quality project during the school holidays! 🏫

We’re currently working on the first-fix plumbing works for a school project alongside Kilbury Construction, delivering a high-quality installation ready for the next stage of works.

The project included:
• First fix for new male and female staff toilets
• Stripping back the existing steel pipework and tapping into it with new copper pipework
• Installation of a completely new soil stack for the new toilets
• 5 concealed cisterns installed and hard-piped in copper
• High-level copper pipework installed above the suspended ceiling, ready to drop onto the walls during second fix
• All new pipework has been designed to be individually isolatable — a major improvement on the previous installation, which required the whole school to be isolated.

It’s all about getting the details right at first fix. A clean, well-planned installation now means a smoother, more reliable system when it comes to second fix.

A big thank you to Kilbury Construction for the great teamwork, and to Bence Plumbing And Heating for supplying the kit.

🔧 Recent Project Completed ✨

It was great to work alongside newmanconstructionsons on this fantastic kitchen installation.

Our part of the project included:

✔️ Installing a stylish single-panel column radiator (supplied by Plumbase)
✔️ Fitting a double bowl sink
✔️ Installing a Quooker boiling water tap with a retractable hose spout for added convenience and a sleek finish

The end result is a practical, modern space that's built to last.

☀️ Going Away This Summer? Don't Forget Your Plumbing!

If you're heading off on holiday, spending five minutes checking your plumbing before you leave could save you from coming home to an expensive surprise.

Here's a simple checklist:

✅ Turn off your mains water supply (if your home will be empty for several days). This helps prevent major water damage if a pipe or fitting fails while you're away.

✅ Check for any dripping taps or small leaks. Even minor leaks can become bigger problems if left unattended.

✅ Clear your sinks and drains. Remove hair, food waste and debris to reduce the chance of unpleasant smells or blockages when you return.

✅ Set your hot water and heating appropriately. In summer, you may be able to switch your boiler to holiday mode or reduce the temperature. Always follow the manufacturer's guidance.

✅ Ask a neighbour or family member to keep an eye on your property if you're away for an extended period. They can spot any leaks or issues early.

Another great milestone on an ongoing project in Charlton Kings! 👌
