Progress update from one of our specialist projects.
Recently completed a process chiller plant installation serving a laboratory environment, including construction of a bespoke GRP enclosure and full mechanical fit out.

From plant installation and controls through to pipework integration, this package was designed to provide reliable cooling for a critical application.

We recently completed rooftop chilled water pipework in Nottingham, connecting 2 new chillers as part of a cooling infrastructure upgrade.

Works included 6” pre-fabricated steel pipework, flanged connections and full rooftop installation.

Prefabrication helped reduce time on site, improve quality and keep the programme moving.

A look back at our pre-Christmas emergency works at Waitrose Monmouth.
Following the severe flooding, we supported urgent recovery works including refurbishment support and the relocation and installation of damaged refrigeration equipment.
Thanks to a strong team effort and close coordination with all parties, the store was successfully reopened in time for Christmas.

Proud to say we completed this project towards the end of last year — a full plant and refrigeration refurbishment, along with the installation of a new bakery and sushi counter.

Four months on — project successfully delivered.

We’re proud to look back on this project and reflect on what the team at RAW Mechanical delivered for a high-end client.

Despite a demanding programme and high expectations, the works were completed on time, to a high standard, and fully aligned with the client’s brief from the outset.
This project is a strong example of what can be achieved through clear communication, detailed planning, and a committed site team.

Credit to everyone involved — from early coordination through to final handover ,the level of professionalism and attention to detail throughout was evident.

Projects like this reinforce our continued focus on quality, programme discipline, and building strong, long-term working relationships.
