Job vacancy due to expanding business

Shirley agricultural contractors requires a tractor driver for a busy contracting team based near thornbury Bristol.

Seeking a enthusiastic individual to join an expanding contracting team for the 2026 season.
This is a season role from now till the end of maize, for the right person this can be a full time position.

A good work ethic to work long hours and weekends, good time keeping is a must.

This is a one man tractor operator job using a modern john deere with john deere gps.

No accommodation previous umbilical experience and using john deere gps is an advantage

Rate of pay will depend on experience

Main roles include

Relief forager operator
Claas 4 rotor raking
Pulling a silage trailer
Mowing
Umbilical bar operator
Slurry pump operator
Muck spreading
Slurry tanking
