Celebrating 25 years of dedication!

A huge congratulations to Mark Saunders and Louis Butters, who have both reached the incredible milestone of 25 years with MACL.

Mark, one of our experienced Machine Operators, and Louis, Site Manager at our Haverhill site, have each dedicated a quarter of a century to the business. Their commitment, professionalism and loyalty have played an important role in MACL's continued success and are a testament to the strength of our team.

Reaching 25 years of service is a fantastic achievement and reflects the positive culture and long-term careers we continue to build at MACL.

Congratulations to four of our apprentices who have successfully completed their Level 2 Groundworker Apprenticeships and have now been promoted to permanent Groundworker roles with MACL.

👏 A huge well done to Ethan Parsley, Luke Keyworth, Tyla Grant and Sonny Booker, who officially joined our Groundworks team on permanent contracts from 29 June 2026.

Their achievement is the result of months of hard work, commitment and a willingness to learn on site. From day one, each has demonstrated the attitude and determination needed to build a successful career in the construction industry.

Supporting apprentices is an important part of MACL's commitment to developing the next generation of skilled construction professionals. We're proud to see our apprentices progress into permanent roles and look forward to watching their careers continue to grow with us.

Are you looking to become part of an ambitious, fast-paced, dynamic procurement department? This rare opportunity might just be the one for you.

MACL are recruiting for a Buyer to join our team, located just outside the City of Chelmsford.

With the full support of the team, the role will predominantly include taking ownership and responsibility of the “day to day” material procurement within the business, covering up to 20 live sites at any one time.

🤝 Supply chain relationships are at the heart of MACL’s core values, so the ideal candidate will need to have a desire of building and maintaining relationships, whilst also possessing strong negotiating skills.

👷 Construction-related experience is preferred but not compulsory. However, previous experience in procurement is critical.

🔍 Attention to detail is what separates MACL from the rest; solid punctuation and Excel skills are desirable.

We're proud to announce the award of our first project with Croudace Homes Ltd.

MACL has been appointed to deliver the site infrastructure and groundworks for 77 new homes at Officers Meadow in Shenfield.

Winning work with a new client is particularly rewarding in today's highly competitive market. It reflects the confidence placed in our team and recognises our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality groundworks and infrastructure projects.
