Can we just take a moment to appreciate this glow up 😍

Normally we listen to our clients and tailor our service according…but even though this client said he didn’t want Wembley, it’s what he got 😎

This lawn was renovated mid April, and has thrived. With regular watering at the start to aid germination. To regular mowing to help thicken the sward, and then deep soaking teamed with regular mowing.

It’s these 2 simple things that have excelled this lawn past our clients original request.

The trick now is keeping it green during our third heatwave 😎🤯

This lovely little renovation in Chelmsford has come up brilliantly!

Heavily scarified, over seeded, top dressed and fertilised.

With lovely warm temps and regular watering from our client (heavily pregnant client I should add) the turn around is something we strive to achieve on all of our lawns.

Seeding has been difficult this spring, with cold overnight temps, frosts, then into scorching hot weather with no rain, but patience and perseverance is key!

Unfortunately our wish for a warm and wet spring hasn’t come true! While it’s great to see the temperatures finally improving, it looks like it’s going to be another exceptionally dry Spring. Please see guidance below on watering your lawns 💦 🌱

🌱 If your lawn is in good condition: Give it a deep soak every 3 days rather than a little and often. This encourages deeper root growth and helps your lawn stay stronger during dry spells. If it starts to look stressed or dry, increase watering slightly until it recovers.

🌱 If your lawn has been recently overseeded: Moisture is key! The seed must stay consistently damp to germinate. Water at least twice a day in dry weather (morning and evening is ideal). Once you see new shoots, reduce to once daily, then gradually move to every 3 days as it establishes.

🌿 If your lawn has been scarified recently: After scarification, your lawn needs extra care as it recovers:• Keep the soil consistently moist—don’t let it dry out• Water lightly but more frequently at first if needed• If overseeded, follow the overseeding guidance above• As the lawn begins to recover, transition to deeper watering every 3 days

As always for advice on how to achieve a lush, green lawn please drop us a message, call us on 01245 361630 or complete the enquiry form on our website for a call back.
