Reordering works at the Grade I listed All Saints Church in the Cambridgeshire village of Cottenham are nearing completion.
The project involved making better use of the space to the Nave and North Aisle and providing a new kitchen, accessible WC and a first-floor viewing gallery within the tower.
Here's a summary:
🛠 New kitchen and accessible WC
🛠 New first-floor viewing gallery within the tower
🛠 Structural steelwork, glazing and joinery
🛠 New limecrete floor with Ancaster limestone
🛠 New drainage, heating, electrics and ventilation
🛠 Ledger slabs lifted, recorded and returned to their orginal locations
This was all completed while the church remained open and we look forward to the congregation and local community enjoying their new facilities.
