Why preparation matters

A lasting finish depends on what happens before the paving, concrete or turf goes down. Site clearance, levels, drainage and a correctly prepared base all affect how the finished area performs.

Good outdoor work starts below the finished surface. Keable Construction delivers driveways, patios, fencing, concrete bases, drainage and groundworks across Essex.

🚨 A QUICK REMINDER FOR ANYONE HAVING WORK DONE AT HOME 🚨

If you’re having work carried out in your garden or around your property, whether it’s landscaping, renovations, construction work or a garden project and the company offers to take away your waste, always double-check that they are registered as a licensed waste carrier.

It’s easy to assume that because they are doing the work for you, they can simply take the waste away. But using someone who isn’t properly registered could mean your waste ends up being fly-tipped, and you could potentially be held responsible.

✅ Ask the contractor who will be taking your waste away.
✅ Check that they have a valid waste carrier’s licence/registration.
✅ Make sure your waste is being disposed of responsibly and legally.

✨ Before & After — Billericay ✨

Another garden transformation completed in Billericay, and what a difference! 👌

The garden originally had two different levels of paving, which made it difficult to create a practical and spacious seating area. We redesigned the layout and brought the paving to one level, making much better use of the patio and creating a far more functional space.

To achieve this, we constructed a larger retaining wall and new steps down to the grass level. A little more work, but the finished result was well worth it! 👍

We also installed new slatted privacy fencing, adding the perfect finishing touch while giving the garden a much more private and contemporary feel.

Another transformation completed and another happy customer! 🙌

Sorry we’ve been so quiet lately! 🤍 We’ve been SO busy behind the scenes!

We’ve been flat out and even splitting the team across different projects to make sure we can get everything completed. We’ve got so many exciting projects currently on the go, and the team are working hard to get through them all. 🛠️✨

We just want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who continues to support us. Your repeat custom genuinely doesn’t go unnoticed, and we feel incredibly lucky that so much of our work comes through word of mouth and recommendations. 🤍

We’ve got some amazing projects to share with you, and projects will be uploaded next week! Some real exciting ones…
