Block paving driveway part of a larger project we carried out earlier this year.
Full dig-out, sub-base compacted in layers, screeded sand, then laid, cut in and whacked down. Kiln-dried sand into the joints to finish.

Get the preparation right and a driveway like this should stand up to daily use for years without rutting or sinking. What decides that is all underneath, before a single block goes down.

Each one dug out, hardcore in and compacted in layers, levels set with the laser, shuttered and floated.

Not the most glamorous job we do, but a base that's dead level and properly compacted will still be square in ten years. One thrown down on a bit of sand won't.

Front boundary transformation

This one had been left to its own devices for years overgrown shrubs, roots through everything, no clear boundary at all.

We cleared the lot, dug it out properly, and put in new post and rail fencing paired with 8x8 gate posts. Two days on site, start to finish.
