We had an inspirational Sunday spent exploring Kew Gardens and although we were there for 7 hours, there was much more to see that what we could manage. With stunning 🌳 trees, sumptuous vegetables and vast, open grounds we meandered our way around. The Palm House and Temperate House were magnificent in their size, craftsmanship of building, and of course their plant collections. Definetly worth a visit & we'll be back again soon!

Gardening for many people is simply keeping the space tidy - how the outdoors look. I've come to realise that it's much more. I like all sense to be stimulated - the feel of a Stachys leaf, the refreshing scent of lemon balm as it's brushed by. Combined, a well thought out garden can secretly heal you without you even realising.

As Queen said, 'One Vision'
A Vision, planning and hard graft last year has led to this garden beginning to take shape and look marvellous. We spent a lot of time clearing invasive, repetitive plants, preparing the ground, and applying a decent layer of compost. Yesterday, we really began to see the fruits of put labour with buds breaking and bulbs beginning to establish. This is why I love my job 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹

It's been a relaxing yet productive week back in the Classroom & on Tuesday, I was the pupil, completing the first pesticide application course. Once qualified, I'll be able to offer a more efficient lawncare and w**d control for existing and new clients. Further training and testing will be happening over the coming weeks...
