A recent project completed in Sittingbourne installing 1,100 metres of semi-permanent reptile fencing for a new client on behalf of Native Ecology

The fencing creates a secure barrier around the working area. It allows ecologists to safely trap and relocate reptiles, such as slow worms and common lizards, to a suitable receptor area before construction work begins. Once the area has been cleared, the fencing helps prevent reptiles from moving back onto the site.

This was a time-critical job, so our team worked hard to get everything installed on schedule, allowing the ecologists to begin trapping and the client’s project to keep moving forward.

Another great example of the ecology and site-enabling work we provide across Kent.

Few jobs over this week including dangerous leaning trees to nice pruning jobs and overly grown trees close to the house being removed! Nice sunshine with some challenging winds at times 😅

Work Experience Survivors 😂🌳

Over the last two weeks we’ve had two lads from Greenacre School out with us on work experience
my son Harry B and his mate Harry D.

To put it politely… they’ve had a bit of a shock to the system 😅

Early starts ✔️
Heavy lifting ✔️
Mud, rain, brash, and more mud ✔️
Being told to “grab that log” about 500 times a day ✔️

Both of them have said it’s been the hardest two weeks of their life
which probably says more about school than it does about us 🤣

But fair play to them – they turned up, got stuck in, didn’t moan (too much), and actually put a proper shift in 💪

I reckon deep down they’ve enjoyed it… even if their backs, arms, and hands are telling a different story today!

Good to show the younger generation what a real day’s graft looks like 👊
Respect to both of them they’ve done themselves proud.

Now they can go back to school for a well-earned rest 😆

Can our followers give them a big well done please

🔥 BIG SHOUTOUT TO S&S FENCING 🔥

Credit where it’s due…

We had S&S Fencing in at short notice to carry out fencing works in our garden, and honestly the result is 👌

From the moment they arrived, you could see the care and attention to detail they put into their work. No cutting corners, just proper workmanship done the right way.

✔️ Solid, well-built fencing
✔️ Clean, tidy and professional throughout
✔️ Turned up when they said they would
✔️ Got the job done to a seriously high standard

The whole team grafted and took real pride in what they were doing something that doesn’t go unnoticed 👏

As contractors ourselves, we know how important it is to find reliable trades you can trust… and these lads definitely delivered.

If you’re thinking about getting any fencing done, we’d 100% recommend giving S&S Fencing a message 👍

Support good trades 🙌
