This was a huge project in a while that we have done it started off with a ridge repoint and a few broken slates both turned into us upholding the dormers and fitting new windows which were bespoke and had to make some adaptions too which proved to be difficult at times due to the weather and high strong winds at times but over all the customer is very happy with the transformation which is always good to hear we also rebuilt chimneys and installed chimney pits and cowls

Before and after photo of today’s work which included removing ivy from the wall causing damage and making the exsisting render blow so we took off the loose render pulled the ivy back installed wire mess for the render to bond too and re rendered to avoid further leaks

Emergency call out last night to see why they had a leak both valleys were blocked not allowing waterto run freely out the gulley and into the down pipe we cleared it back and noticed there was a hole in lead we applied cromopol as a temporary fix for now one happy customer

Customer had a leak and couldn’t see where it was coming from so we investigated and could see a lot of moss build up in the valleys and back gutters to chimney also mortar missing from valley so we cleared valleys and replace missing mortar

We replaced numerous of broken tiles and completed an unfinished valley along with securing ridge tiles as they were just loose laid by the previous roofer who never returned this was causing the nursing home issues in which they could not use for a person needing care due to leaks in the room we had to source Redland stone worlds mk2 tiles which we managed to source locally and complete the unfinished work making the roof safe and water tight for the care home
