🏗️ Extension underway in New Milton 🧱🏠

We’ve made a start on this 6m x 3.8m x 4.8m wrap-around extension in New Milton.

The old porch was dismantled & removed. Excavation of the foundations complete, and it’s certainly been a challenge, with a ridiculous amount of concrete to remove!

The oversite has now been dug off and is ready for the concrete pour. We’ll be moving on to the block and beam floor, followed by the brick and blockwork up to plate. To finish things off, we’ll be installing a flat roof with an EPDM finish.

Fingers crossed the weather holds off so we can keep this one moving along nicely! 🤞🌦️

We’ve also got our barn conversion in Salisbury running alongside this project.

🧱Barn Conversion Underway🧱

We’ve just started work on this 10m x 8m barn conversion in Salisbury, which will be transformed into a comfortable and practical living space.

The finished space will include:
🛏️ A bedroom
🍳 A kitchen & living area
🚿 A bathroom

The floor will be fully insulated & screeded before false walls are erected and insulated throughout, helping create a warm, energy-efficient space.

New windows & doors will also be fitted throughout. 🏠

✨ Project completed in Verwood ✨

We’re delighted to have completed this 23m² extension, including second-fix electrical and plumbing works, as well as the supply and installation of a new en-suite.🧱🏠

🔨 Walk-in wardrobe plastered, with skirtings fitted and ready for the client to install their chosen cupboards.

🚪 French doors cut out and installed within the study area. During the works, we discovered a rotten suspended timber floor, which was completely removed and replaced with new timbers and floorboards.

🪟 Two new windows installed — one in the existing bedroom and one in the new walk-in wardrobe.

🏠 Pebble-dash render applied to the new extension.

🪵 New skirtings fitted in four rooms.

💧 New guttering installed around the entire property.

The property has now been handed back to the client, ready for them to add their own finishing touches with paint and their chosen flooring.

A chimney refurbishment completed in Cranborne.

🔨 Erected scaffolding to provide safe access
🧱 Raked out and thoroughly cleaned the existing chimney brickwork
✨ Repointed the chimney using NHL 3.5 lime mortar
🏠 Renewed the chimney flaunching
🌬️ Installed 2 new ventilation caps to the unused chimney pots
🔩 Replaced the existing lead sealant with new
🎨 Finished with a sympathetic approach to retain the character of the original chimney

The finished result has made a huge difference — not only practically, but aesthetically too. A tired and weathered chimney brought back to life while maintaining the character of the property. 👷‍♂️🧱

⚒️Extension Progress Update – Verwood⚒️

We started this extension project just four weeks ago, and the progress so far has been great.

The project began with a full site clearance, followed by excavating the foundations and installing new drainage for the ensuite. In total, around 50 tonnes of waste were removed from site before the concrete foundations were poured and construction could begin.

The block and beam flooring was then installed, complete with telescopic air vents. We have erected the external walls using a combination of Thermalite and concrete blockwork, which will eventually be finished with a pebble dash render to match the existing property.

The mansard hipped roof has now been constructed, tiled and made fully watertight. First fix plumbing and electrical works are also complete.

We have cut a new doorway through into the existing bedroom, created an opening for the French doors, installed the necessary lintels and fitted the French doors in the new study area.

The extension floor has now been insulated and screeded, and we’re moving on to the internal works as we start bringing this project closer to completion.🏠🧱👷‍♂️

A 5m x 3m glass and aluminium conservatory dismantled and removed in Verwood, with all associated materials cleared from site.

Following the removal of the conservatory, the existing concrete base was broken up and fully removed. The area was then cleared and prepared to create a clean and level surface.

A suitable membrane was installed across the prepared ground to help suppress w**d growth and provide separation between the soil and the new surface material. The area was then finished with a layer of 20mm shingle, creating a neat, practical and low-maintenance temporary surface. 🧱⚒️👷‍♂️

🏠Project completed in Verwood!⚒️

We’ve transformed this 6m x 3m existing conservatory, starting with the removal of the old conservatory roof and replacing it with a lightweight structure and solid roof.

The new roof features a vented ceiling with appropriate insulation, helping to keep the space cooler in the summer and warmer through the winter. The exterior was finished with lightweight bitumen tiles, while inside we installed a fully plastered finish, complete with rotating downlights to suit the new pitched ceiling.

The electrical work has also been completed, along with the installation of a new radiator. 🔧

We also removed an existing window and cut it down to create a new walkway into the conservatory. Removing 2 radiators either side of the wall. The existing personnel door was removed and plastered over, creating a seamless finish throughout.

Another great transformation and another happy customer, project completed within 6 days! 🤩

🪨 25 tonnes of material removed
💪 New hardcore base installed and compacted in layers
🧱 Block-paved edging slurried and installed
🛡️ Double-membraned for added protection
✨ Finished with a fresh Panda gravel surface
