I’m Sukey, a Brighton-based, affordable female sparky, and your new go-to person for small, electrical jobs and fixes in Brighton! A lot of the time, you won’t need a fully registered electrician for smaller jobs, but you do need a “competent person” – hopefully I can be that person for you! I come with the benefits of not being booked up for months and months on really huge commercial jobs, I’m really reasonably priced, and I’ll happily do really small jobs that are really local to me (Hanover, Brighton)
I have C&G Level 3 qualifications in Part P Building Regs, and BS7671 (aka “the wiring regs”) and Level 2 Electrical Testing, so I know what I can and can’t do, and I’m OK to be let loose on your wiring. (If I’m not, I’ll let you know!)
I am – of course – fully insured; I have £2m of public liability cover, should the unthinkable happen. I’ll never over-commit to a job I’m not qualified to do: I’ll be upfront with you if I can’t do what needs doing. Some examples of things I am qualified to do:
✅ Change your light fittings, switches and sockets.
✅ Add extensions and new light fittings to an existing circuit
✅ Add extensions and new plug sockets to existing circuits (including in kitchens)
✅ Replace broken extractor fans in bathrooms
✅ Add or change an outdoor garden light
…and various other things – just ask! I have professional test equipment, and will test and certify minor electrical works, so you’re in safe hands. I’ve included a bit of information about pricing on my website here: https://sparkysukey.co.uk/pricing
