🎉🎂 Happy Birthday to Steve! 🎂🎉

A massive happy birthday to my business partner Steve at IGS London!

Almost four years in business together, through all the madness, the challenges, the long days and everything else that comes with running a company! 😂💪

Obviously, we had to get him a chocolate birthday cake! 🎂🍫 Shame about the bloody wind taking out half the candles before he even got a chance to blow them out! 💨😂

But seriously, happy birthday, mate! Here’s to another year of IGS London and whatever chaos comes our way! 🍻

When you open the control box and it looks like THIS… 😭😂

You already know it’s going to be a hard day.

Fault finding is hard. Maintenance is hard. Even figuring out what the last engineer was thinking is hard. 🤯

But there’s only one thing for it — get stuck in and sort it out. 🛠️⚡️

Another award for the cabinet. 🏆 Another reason to keep raising the standard.

What do you do when it’s all going wrong and the client just doesn’t know what to do? 😂

Everyone thinks their electric gate is completely broken… until the gate engineer turns up, fixes it immediately, and leaves them wondering what just happened. ⚡️😂

Sometimes you’ve just got to make it look easy.

I guess this is why the rich stay rich… 😂

Something I’ve noticed in business: often, the people without loads of money will value your time, accept your price and happily pay you for a good job.

Then you turn up at the mega mansion — 18 bedrooms, supercars on the drive, grounds bigger than a small village — and suddenly we’re negotiating over the last £100. 😂

And you know what? Fair play. Maybe that’s part of the reason they’re successful. They negotiate, they question prices and they always try to make the deal a little bit better.

But please… just say:

“Can you do it a bit cheaper?”

Don’t give me the poverty speech while I’m standing next to your Lamborghini. 😂

I can literally see the money.

Bi-fold automatic gates are one of the most impressive pieces of engineering you’ll see on a driveway. Every hinge, motor, safety device and millimetre of alignment has to work together in perfect harmony. Fast, compact and incredibly complex, they’re a true engineering marvel when designed and installed correctly.

Precision isn’t optional—it’s everything.

Engineered. Tested. Built to last.

Weeks of planning. Days of measuring, fabrication, calibration and fine adjustment.

This is what precision engineering looks like.

A perfectly aligned slot on a bi-fold gate, allowing the maglock to glide into position with millimetre accuracy every single time. On a standard swing gate that’s a challenge. On a bi-fold system, where multiple moving components have to work in perfect harmony, it’s another level entirely.

This wasn’t luck—it was careful design, expert blacksmithing, precision engineering and meticulous installation. Every measurement matters, every adjustment counts, and the end result speaks for itself.

Quality isn’t just how it looks. It’s how it performs, day after day.

I’ve given up fighting the cowboys… 🤠🇺🇸

This year I’ve officially joined them for the 4th of July! Happy Independence Day to everyone celebrating. Have an amazing day, stay safe, and enjoy the BBQs, fireworks, and good company! 🎆🍔
