A recent kitchen fire in Wakefield that DJH Electrical asked for our assistance on.

The fire has done some serious damage to the consumer unit and wiring above, but luckily it was contained to the kitchen area.

After cutting out the damaged cable and running some tests to ensure the remaining part of the circuits was safe we could begin rewiring

2nd rewire of the year started for a new customer in Pontefract!

Bit of a different one for us having to work around the current installation still requiring power. Not too long till we can revisit and finish off the outstanding second fix work with more pictures to follow.

Customer came to us asking to update there outside lights and a few smaller internal jobs, after looking at the consumer unit arrangement it was advised they upgraded to a much more modern and safer unit.

Just in time for the Christmas break🎄

Customer came to us requiring a car charger fitting on there new home! With the supply being 20 meters away, we utilised the shed for any future circuits they may require at the bottom of the garden.

After 3 gruelling days at NAPITs training centre in Mansfield i have passed my 2391-51 qualification allowing me to conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports.

It was Far from a walk in the park but I still topped my class of 6 🤓📚.

New customer in Garforth.

Customer came to us requiring a supply for a huge free standing oven, that was previously plugged in to a socket outlet. Not ideal as the oven will require 32A when at full load and could have been a nasty surprise come Christmas Day 🎄
