Project Curve, Pontefract 👋

Our latest one done and complete,

Here we had unsafe flagging on this project, our customer wanted a new walkway and this was the solution to keep costs down, from putting new footings, brick work and new slabs down.

We have installed sleeper steps with a nice curve on this to give it a seemless flow, instead of a straight run as standard.

This was our first time doing anything like this, and i think looks the part, happy with the final result ❤️

Weve also added 20mm quartz decorative gravel into steps to try blend into existing areas around it, weve used gravel glue to set this solid so no movement of gravel when accessing up and down.

Our 2026 diary is officially full, but bookings for 2027 are now open! ✨

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful clients this year who have kept our team so busy, and our clients who are booked in for the rest of this year too 👋

If you have a project in mind and want to avoid the busy summer rush next year, booking early is a great way to secure your preferred date.

Please feel free to reach out anytime—our friendly team is always here to answer your questions and help you plan ahead!

Project Ash, Pontefract finished up today.

What another little transformation from us here at Ultra Groundworks and Landscaping

Removal of old fish pond, and a full dig out and installation of indian sandstone paving, plus new trellis fencing to finish off.

Wasnt the largest of areas but definatley opened this space back up to be more useable now.

This was one of those projects with shared driveway to front of property so hardly no space for us, so we had to load all excavated materials onto our tipper truck for disposal.

We were lucky on this one as neighbours were so nice to us and let us park on there driveway to make things alot easier for access and loading and unloading, which i did appreciate so much ❤️

Nice bottle of prosseco and a crate stella as a thank you for been awesome neighbours.

We are pretty booked up for rest of year now, with couple slight gaps to fill, so anyone intrested please contact us to discuss any small projects you may have.

Starting to fill diary for 2027, so dont miss out before the rush starts next year everyone 👌

Finally onto putting some slabs down today, after all graft gone into this, fish pond was a ballache to remove, whoever built that, hands off to you, was like bell metal.

Ended up getting concrete breaker on it in end, was that well put together, outside skin pretty easy to remove but the breeze, jeez 🤣

✨ Project Belford | Meanwood, Leeds ✨

It was an absolute pleasure working on this transformation for such fantastic clients!

Ultra Groundworks and Landscaping recently completed this extensive garden overhaul, focusing on structural longevity and a premium finish.

Here is a breakdown of the work completed by our team:

⏫️Structural Foundations:

Installed a brand-new retaining wall using high-strength foundation blocks and a freshly poured concrete footing for maximum structural integrity.

🌳Ground Preparation:

Completed a full ground dig-out, followed by laying a heavy-duty geo-woven membrane and a thoroughly compacted MOT Type 1 sub-base.

⚒️Premium Paving:

Laid 54 square metres of stunning 900mm x 600mm white porcelain paving tiles, with aco channel drainage too.

🌿Grouting:

Finished the paving using cream Steintec Tuffjoint grout. It was our first time utilizing this product, and we are highly impressed by its ease of application and rock-solid finish.

The retaining wall is now ready for rendering by another contractor, which will perfectly tie the look together.

The end result is a bright, modern, and inviting outdoor area built to be enjoyed for years to come.

Swipe through to see the full transformation journey, including before, during, and after photos! 📸

We are incredibly grateful for our clients' fantastic feedback and are thrilled that they love their new garden.

When a customer reaches back out after 2 year after we did a artificial turf install for them is a big compliment to our business ❤️

This one is not a big job, and we didnt install this patio area, we did originally price for a new porcelain patio and after a discussion, customer had a good think and asked what we could do instead to keep costs down.

So here we have taken out the old sleepers what were so rotted and full of water, ive never seen sleepers this bad, since setting up, i removed and just crumbled in my hands they were that bad ⚒️

We removed the old sleepers, installed new ones, grinded out and repointed the patio area using natural buff titan epoxy, re instated the artificial turf.

We even chucked in a light chemical clean to bring this small area back to life, customer was so gratefull for what we did to this small area.

We do appreciate customers like this, who see the value we have to offer from our business in the local area, we do what we can to help out as much as possible, even on small projects like this 👌
