An LPG system boiler swap carried out not too long ago in Lenham!

In went a 8000 which, being slightly larger and the unvented cylinder in the way, required it to be moved to the left a bit 🤏🏻 coring out the old stone was some dusty work!

The job was completed with a very happy customer at the end of it!

A nice heat only swap carried out on Wednesday in sunny Margate ☀️

An old Baxi 100 replaced with a Worcester Bosch 24Ri. Heating filter installed, condense upgraded and insulated throughout and then finished off with a hot flush.

The system was pretty clean on the drain down and has been well looked after by a now retired engineer! Always a pleasure getting jobs like this one 🙌🏻

Nice straight forward breakdown from the other day! Vaillant UK boiler wasn't firing up when there was a call for hot water (heating wasn't being used for obvious reasons 🥵). This property had an unvented cylinder so checked the basics, and all seemed to be working!

Turns out due to the heat, the customer had somehow turned the flow temperature to the boiler down to 22°c, and as the water inside the system was at this temperature, it wasn't going to fire up. Easily turned back up and the boiler fired immediately!

Secondly though, I could hear a bit of gurgling from the heat exchanger, so checked the condense and found it snaking uphill before it joined the pipe. A very easy correction, cut lower so the grey joining hose had a nice smooth bend to it. That should mean no further F.28 / F.29 faults should occur in relation to the condense.

Not all jobs are quite this simple, christ if they all were we'd all be gas engineers!

Nice little Worcester Bosch boiler swap today. An old greenstar 24i replaced with a fresh looking 4000! Accompanied with it's mini protection filter, and flushed using Sentinel UK - part of Aalberts hydronic flow control X800 and protected afterwards with the X100.

Tidy job, happy customer, great end to the week 🙌🏻

Something a little different today!!

Customer was fed up of the amount of scale caused by the hard water in our area so opted to have a water softener installed.

In comes a Harvey home water twin tank non electric unit which fit the space perfectly! A new outside tap was run which is kept non-soft along with a single cold point in the utility room. The rest of the house however is now being treated to silky soft water!

Happy how this turned out, makes me want to get one myself 😂

A lovely combi swap today in Ashford on behalf of . Really enjoying their installs lately. They send you pretty much everything you'll need with the exception of condense pipework and fittings, which I can live with 🤷🏻‍♂️

A 4000 going in place of its 20+ year old predecessor. Coupled up with Worcester magnetic filter, shock arrestor and finished up with the installation of a mini thermostat which the customer is over the moon with 🙌🏻

Nice little heat only swap today installing a 18Ri also with their own filter for extra boiler protection. magnacleanse carried out to removed as much rubbish within the heating system as possible! Finally a mini smart thermostat for easy heating and hot water control 🙌🏻 happy landlord and happy tenants, it's what it's all about 👌🏻

A bank holiday Friday service that saw the last living day for this classic. A leaking drain off had compromised the case and she had to go off!

Massive thank you to for getting me a new boiler and flue ASAP so that the customer could be back up and running again!

In went another Ideal due to the rear flue option available, condense pump and an atom filter. Job completed, customer over the moon. Happy days.

F75 fault, but a welcome change from sensor issues!

Here's a peek at yesterday's pump swap in Gillingham. The old pump had given up, leading to the F75 fault.

Replaced and done - the customer's got her hot water back, and a hair wash was the first order of business 😂
