We’re Hiring – Remote Administrator

Solar Acre Ltd is looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support our growing renewable energy business.

This is a fully remote role and would suit somebody looking for flexible work with the opportunity to grow into a much larger position as the company expands.

📍 Fully Remote Working

⏰ 10–15 hours per week initially

📈 Expected to grow to 30+ hours per week over the next 6–12 months

💷 £14–£18 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

✅ Answering incoming customer enquiries

✅ Managing customer communications via phone and email

✅ Booking surveys, sales appointments and installations

✅ Managing sales and installation diaries

✅ Updating CRM systems and customer records

✅ Chasing customers, suppliers and subcontractors when required

✅ Preparing installation paperwork and compliance documentation

✅ Managing company documents and administration

✅ Assisting with company social media and marketing activities

✅ Creating and scheduling social media posts from content provided by the team

✅ Responding to enquiries received through social media channels

✅ Supporting the directors with day-to-day business operations

Essential Requirements

✔ Previous administration, customer service or office experience

✔ Excellent organisational skills

✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills

✔ Ability to work independently without constant supervision

✔ Good IT skills and confidence using online systems

✔ Own laptop/PC and mobile phone

✔ Reliable internet connection

Desirable

⭐ Experience within construction, renewable energy or trade businesses

⭐ Experience using CRM systems

⭐ Experience managing business social media accounts
