If you're wondering what a Lawngevity lawn should look like... this is it. 🌱💚
This is the lawn of our Senior Technician, Stuart.
Every treatment we apply to our clients' lawns, Stuart applies to his own. No secret products. No special treatment. Just the exact same Lawngevity programme we recommend across the Ballymena area.
His lawn certainly doesn't have it easy. It's built on heavy Ballymena clay, sits high on an exposed site, is surrounded by agricultural land, and regularly faces cooler temperatures and stronger winds than many of our clients experience.
Recently, Stuart invested in a new Hayter roller mower, and those stripes are certainly doing their job! 👌
But here's something you might not expect...
Stuart isn't completely happy.
Like any lawn enthusiast, he sees the imperfections that most people would never notice. There's a little more thatch than he'd like and the first signs of Red Thread have appeared following the recent warm, humid weather.
So, just as we'd advise any client:
✅ Anti-biotic (fungicide) treatment next week as temperatures ease.
✅ Scarification booked for September to remove the built-up thatch.
✅ Continue with weekly mowing and the Lawngevity treatment programme.
That's what professional lawn care is all about. It's not chasing perfection—it's understanding what your lawn needs, when it needs it, and making the right decisions at the right time.
We think Stuart is doing a cracking job... although we know he'll still be looking for ways to make it even better! 😄
Healthy soil. Stronger grass. Better lawns. That's the Lawngevity way. 🌿
