Hard one this job, working for a Royal Artillery Major with 42 (yes 42!) years service. Honoured though to be at his home for his first day back as a civilian and able to call him 'Mr' not 'Sir'.
Arch enemies, but proud on this one to have a shared motto - Ubique.

We removed a bath, re-plumbed and fixed some very dodgy silicone repairs to pipes, fitted a low level shower tray, screen, replaced tiles, fitted a tap, built a fence and gate and did some electrics and plasterboarding in the garage, amongst other things.

Q&A time - Which areas do you work in?
Carl has been asked a lot lately which areas he covers.
Home is Yarm, so we can work in the North East of North Yorkshire, Teesside and up into County Durham. He also has accommodation in Ingleton, so can cover the Yorkshire Dales, and yes, even into Lancashire!
We can travel further afield depending on the job and if basic accommodation can be provided.

This week we had limited time to complete as much as we could on a customers new kitchen. In 4 days we completely re-plumbed, re-wired and fitted the kitchen units, doors and skirting leaving the customer to sort out tiling/flooring/decorating when they can.
It's nice to complete the full job, but if you have limited time or funds we can still try and help (especially for a fellow Sapper or their family!)

One of a variety of jobs completed in the last couple of weeks.
A media wall for this client, who kept us exceptionally well supplied with coffee!

This week, we have mostly been installing MDF wall panels...lots...32 in total, to a spare room and hallway.
They provide a cost effective alternative to timber and have a fantastic smooth and even surface.
Once painted they'll really transform this space.

In the years that we've been operating we've only had one single issue with non-payment and maybe 1 or 2 with lateness that have been problematic.
Huge thanks to all of our customers who pay our invoices so promptly, we really do appreciate it. As a small business it really helps 🙂🫶

We help out with repairs and maintenance at these 3 iconic inns. This week mostly plumbing and heating, in preparation for the Yorkshire winter.

You may remember back in March we fitted this large Velux window into this small bathroom that was in a roof space and had no natural light. We've been back to fit the new bathroom. 🛁🚿🛀
