Found this set up the other day in Penrith, what was wrong with crimps or an extender box prior to the CCU I do not know, not great

Nice post light install with twin motion sensors, a dusk till dawn sensor and a manual override switch
Painted the galv PIR post and capping black as an extra little touch

Hi everyone
So I was removing halogen lights from a kitchen and the cables had been so badly heat soaked over time, they had become a serious fire risk
Luckily we are charging them and the cables were able to be stripped back
But this could of, at some point, gone real bad real quick

My customer said the wall lights had stopped working ages ago, had a look and determined that a joint box “somewhere “ had a fault. we decided to renew the cables to them both and replace some old joints with new ones for good measure
Only 2x 20mm holes in the ceiling were made to resolve the issue and a few floor boards up in the bedroom and hall way

Just for once it was dry for all of 15mins at Pooley bridge, for me to try and get the step lights in
Now I agree a dusk shot of the finished job would be great, so keep an eye pealed for the next post👏
