Underfloor heating manifold and pump replaced in Ainstable CA4 today.
Old one was fitted upside down and had a recurring issue with the flow meters breaking off and leaking everywhere.
The new manifold has been fitted the correct way up but that meant extending all the pipework to suit.
Also replaced the 3 zone valves with new Drayton valves as two of them had failed and the customer decided to be proactive about it and have them all changed together.

Few photos from some of this week so far and last weeks jobs we’ve been on with.
Lots of repairs and general plumbing works, a bathroom installation and panelling, and an oil boiler fitted on a subcontract job.
The last couple of weeks we’ve been working in Carlisle, Penrith, Annan, Eastriggs, Brampton, Newcastleton, Penton, Scotby, Talkin, Low Row, Southwaite, Houghton, Wetheral, Wreay, Rockcliffe, Roadhead, Longtown, Kirklinton, Corby Hill, Cummersdale, Gilsland, Roweltown, Harker and Keswick.

Heating project carried out a few weeks ago in Carlisle CA1 on a HMO refurbishment.
We carried out the installation of a gas boiler, 400 litre hot water cylinder with hot water secondary return, and all new radiators throughout the building.
The majority of the radiators were relocated and a couple of extra ones added on.
Unusually, we did not carry out the general plumbing or bathrooms on this one as it was appointed to somebody else by the client.
Baxi Boiler, Gledhill cylinder, stelrad radiators.

New oil tank installation carried out in CA5 area to replace a split single skin tank which we had pumped down a few weeks back as an emergency.
Old block piers and tank removed. New base prepped and new tank installed.
Deaerator fitted as burner higher than fuel tank outlet.

After/Before of a bath to shower alteration job carried out in Carlisle CA2.
Bath and surrounding tiles removed, shower and basin removed.
New shower tray, shower, wall panelling, screen, basin and pipe boxing fitted.
Also replaced the toilet seat at the same time.
