Yesterday evening out of hours work 2nd fixing a property we have fully rewired - the customer is renovating room by room so carrying out 2nd fix works in stages 🏠

🔌 Kitchen 2nd fixed with new oven/hob supplies ran hiding switches in cupboards for less is more effect on counter top aswell as for accessibility purposes with supplies added for cooker extractor/wine cooler

💡 Spotlights also added in bathroom with no additional repair works required to ceiling

Today’s apprentices whilst carrying out an electrical inspection condition report (EICR) at various properties over the past couple of days for rental purposes near Penrith 🐈‍⬛

Did you know landlords are required by law to get an EICR on their property if it’s let/rented?

An EICR (also referred as a landlord certificate), tests & inspects the current state of wiring throughout the property 🏠

Whether it’s rented, your own home or a property you plan on buying it is important to test the condition of the electrics throughout the property to see it’s current health aswell as peace of mind for safety purposes

Monday morning 8am call out in Dumfries before our booked jobs for loss of power to an electric shower

Loose connections, damaged cable & signs of burning resulting in the shower not working following a handyman replacing the shower switch

All fixed & rectified with a new switch supplied & fitted with the shower up & running again🚿

This is the importance of using a competent & qualified electrician like ourselfs or any other local business/firm as it could have been a lot worse than just replacing a shower switch

Full rewire 1st fix carried out in Brampton to meet customers spec/needs ⚒️

1st fix also included 48 spotlights throughout whole property with LED tape feature lights supply added in kitchen ceiling with temporary power left on site for duration of renovation works 🔌💡

All ready for homeowner to start boarding walls/ceilings & plaster throughout ready for us to 2nd fix in the coming months! 🏡

Finished off with under cabinet lights/profiles in shelves with brass sockets/switches 🔌💡✨

Plumbing works for new kitchen also carried out by K.S. Electrical along with new outdoor tap added at the same time as requested!🚰
