So these shiny, ugly chairs were at risk of going to landfill.
My customer, however, had a vision.
We discussed painting the wood in a classy F&B grey and recovering with Abraham Moon wool. Decision made.
However, once the fabric was removed, I discovered a natural wood frame, well hidden by stain, varnish and additional bits and pieces of unnecessary upholstery.
I stripped the chairs back completely and redesigned the arms to show the simple beauty of these chairs.
Well worth the hard work on this transformation. 🤍
