Plug-in solar can feed electricity back into your home’s electrical installation, so the type and condition of the protective devices need to be considered.
In particular, older installations may have protective devices that were never designed with small-scale generation in mind.
That’s why simply looking at the spare sockets in your house isn’t enough.
