A different kitchen for us at Chalkhouse, plywood with in-frame doors, painted here in Pompeiian Ash, an ultra dark green with a very ashy grey tone...as it says on the tin!

First of the photoshoots using the new camera today, lots to learn but hopefully it will be easy to take some great shots. This one is a quick snap taken on my phone instead, of a kitchen coffee station, very bold colour choice which picks up the tones used in the adjacent open plan dining area. More photos to follow... once I have learnt how to get them off the camera!

Not all bedroom furniture is the same...lots of well known high street companies offer built-in "wardrobes" but in actual fact they are just frames with doors leaving your walls to act as the inside of the cupboards. That's not the same as having real furniture, beautifully finished inside and out.

Planning the next photoshoot when we will be trying out a new camera to take reels and videos for social media posts. Hoping I can get to grips with the technology!
These are the two projects we will be photographing at the beginning of September, one is a whole house project, the other a kitchen/dining room, both quite contemporary in style, both using plywood, a material beloved by architects, Kevin Mcloud and George Clarke alike!
Hoping the quality of the photos will be better than these snaps!!

This lovely customer spotted an article in Ideal Home magazine featuring a Chalkhouse handmade kitchen a number of years ago. She tore out the page and pinned it on her noticeboard, vowing that one day she would have her very own beautiful Chalkhouse kitchen, I think that's a lovely story
