While out quoting this week, I asked a new client how they found Tree Squadron.

Usually, a lot of our work comes through recommendations from happy clients, word of mouth, or people seeing our 5-star reviews.

His answer was brilliant:

“I literally typed into Google, ‘What is the best tree surgery company in Wales?’ and you came up top.”

That one made us smile.

Massive thank you to every client who has recommended us, left a review, tagged us, or trusted us with their trees and gardens over the years. It genuinely makes a difference.

Team Leader Alex on a Pine tree removal. 🌲

A declining Pine dismantled safely following survey, council application and approval for removal due to safety concerns.

This tree, along with a mature Oak in the same garden, had declined over recent years. Removal was agreed with replacement planting to follow.

The front TPO oak has also had deadwood removed, with stump grinding and replanting next on the list.

Precision dismantling in motion.

Alex working through the sectional dismantle of an Ash tree alongside the driveway, while the ground team kept the site moving safely and efficiently — processing timber, feeding the chipper and clearing as we progressed.

Night shift precision in the heart of the city.

Our team carried out specialist pruning on a row of mature London plane trees in central Cardiff—carefully raising the crowns and pruning growth back from shopfronts to maintain clearance and form.

With the area fully pedestrianised, works were planned and executed under night access permissions to ensure zero disruption and maximum safety. The use of electric saws enabled us to keep noise to a minimum—critical for city centre operations.

ARB Approved Contractor – Passed ✔️

Great day on site for our Arboricultural Association audit.

Brilliant to have Andy in, talking through key arboricultural topics and getting out to see one of the teams in action — always good to show what we do day-to-day, not just on paper.

Proud to say we’ve successfully passed again and retained our accreditation.

This one means a lot. It reflects the standards we hold across the board — from safety and processes to the quality of work on site. Only a small number of companies in Wales operate at this level, so it’s something we don’t take lightly.

Massive credit to the team for consistently delivering to that standard 👏
