One large spruce. Sectional fell, controlled dismantle, every limb lowered with precision. Stump ground out. Grass skimmed back to a clean base.

Severely dead, crispy ash dieback trees dismantled safely and under full control.

Sam operating from the cherry picker, working methodically from the top down to remove a significant roadside and property risk. With ash dieback, once the timber becomes brittle, controlled access and careful dismantling are essential.

A strong week completed in Haverfordwest, working across a military housing estate to remove mature Ash trees in serious decline due to Ash Dieback.

The works included roadside trees, woodland edge trees and trees within housing garden areas, all presenting an increasing risk of failure, damage and obstruction as the disease progresses.

We teamed up with Gary Allen Cherry Pickers to safely access and dismantle the affected trees, allowing the work to be carried out efficiently, controlled and to a high standard.

A proper effort from the team, completed over the week in some beautiful Welsh sunshine.

While out quoting this week, I asked a new client how they found Tree Squadron.

Team Leader Alex on a Pine tree removal. 🌲

A declining Pine dismantled safely following survey, council application and approval for removal due to safety concerns.

This tree, along with a mature Oak in the same garden, had declined over recent years. Removal was agreed with replacement planting to follow.

The front TPO oak has also had deadwood removed, with stump grinding and replanting next on the list.

Top shift from Alex, Sam and Myles. Proper team effort. 👊

Precision dismantling in motion.

Alex working through the sectional dismantle of an Ash tree alongside the driveway, while the ground team kept the site moving safely and efficiently — processing timber, feeding the chipper and clearing as we progressed.

Great climbing, solid communication and proper teamwork from start to finish. 👌🌳
