Project Update: M62 Westbound

Our team have continued works on the M62 Westbound, installing MMA High Friction Surfacing in Buff.

High Friction Surfacing helps improve skid resistance and provides additional grip where it’s needed most, making it an important part of maintaining safer road surfaces.

Another section of the project completed, with a great finish from the team on site. 👏

🚢 Project spotlight: Dover Docks

A great transformation at Dover Docks, where our team carried out a combination of road marking and surface treatment works across the site.

From high-visibility red anti-skid walkways and safety zones to cycle paths, speed roundels and vehicle stencilling, the finished markings help create clearer routes for vehicles and pedestrians across this busy environment.

🌙 Night shift on Sea Road, Bexhill

A look back at an overnight road marking project completed by our team on Sea Road, Bexhill.

Working through the night helps minimise disruption to road users, while allowing the team to get on with the work and keep the wider scheme moving.

The team completed a range of road markings, including crossing panels, diagonal hatching, road lettering, junction markings and double yellow lines.

🚴‍♂️ 73.55 miles. Nearly 5 hours. £4,729 raised.

This July, our Contracts Manager, Warren Morgan, completed a charity cycle ride in support of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. The challenge was completed in memory of Pam Bedford and to raise awareness and vital funds for everyone affected by this devastating disease.

An incredible achievement for a truly important cause. 👏

72 holes. Nearly 20 miles walked. Around 39,000 steps. One very hot day. ☀️

A huge congratulations to one of our team members, Will Cheetham, who recently completed an incredible golfing challenge to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer.

Starting at 5:15am and finishing at 7:50pm, Will and his team completed 72 holes in a single day, raising an impressive £720 for charity.

While the day was physically demanding, the motivation behind it was far greater. Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK, and raising awareness is just as important as raising funds. Every conversation, donation and show of support makes a difference.

Well done, Will, for your effort and commitment throughout the day. A fantastic achievement for a very worthy cause.
