A glimpse back to where it all beganβ€¦πŸ‘‡

Our historic Commer lorry was spotted over the weekend at Quex Park, proudly showcasing a little piece of the Ovenden Bros story.

More than 50 years ago, Robin and Adrian Ovenden laid the foundations of what would become the Ovenden business we know today. This Commer was among the early lorries used by Ovenden Bros to haul cereal crops for local farmers, helping establish the strong connections with the farming and agricultural community that remain so important to us today.

From those early days of transporting crops for local farmers to the reliable and trusted services we provide to local industries today, the vehicles may have changed but our commitment to hard work, reliability and supporting our local community certainly hasn’t.

It’s fantastic to see this beautifully preserved piece of our history still turning heads and standing as a reminder of just how far we’ve come. β€οΈπŸ’›
