CJ Lawnscaping are currently working our way through our late Summer lawn treatments for clients.ππ
The extreme conditions over the last few months have affected lawns in a variety of different ways and this is due to environmental factors such as location, soil type and water provision if available.
When the grass plant is short on moisture, it basically goes dormant and stops taking in plant nutrient. Some clients express concern that the lawn may be dying but this is rarely the case.π
Our late Summer nutritional treatments are organic in nature and provide both Nitrogen and Potassium. The grass will only start taking in this nutrient once moisture is available, but will soon recover. Where further renovations are necessary, then mechanical processes such as scarification or aeration can be carried out in the Autumn or Winter months to address any underlying issues.
In what has been one of the most extreme years in terms of drought and high temperatures, we're pleased to see that recovery is already taking place after a short amount of recent rainfall - we're certain that more will be on the way!!π€£π©οΈπ¦οΈπ§οΈβοΈ
