40 years at PS Interiors... 👷♂️
The other day I got a Linked In notification about my 40 years anniversary at PS Interiors, really does make you stop and think.
I started working for Frank Underhill at just 16 years old, I only went in to help out and ended staying; which looking back was the start of my career.
Over the years I’ve worked on hundreds of building sites. I’m still that bloke who drives past a building and says, “I’ve worked there.” 😂
I’ve met some incredible people along the way and, more importantly, learnt some of the best lessons - sometimes the hard way.
It’s taken many years to get the company to where it is today. Having our own warehouse and office, company vehicles and the opportunity to work with some great clients is something I’m incredibly proud of.
There have been plenty of struggles, long days and sleepless nights along the way, but looking back, it’s all been worth it.
I’d also be wrong not to mention Mr Peter Roberts. I could sing his praises all day, but he’s one of those people who has always shown up for me, no matter what. I’m incredibly grateful for everything he’s taught me & done over the years (Including denting my van, but it wasn’t PETE...!!).
It’s nice to stop every now and then, look back at how far you’ve come and appreciate the people who’ve helped you along the way
