🌟🎉 That's a Wrap for the Cannock Chase Can Kids Summer Festival! 🎉🌟

As our summer programme comes to a close, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has joined us over the holidays. From arts and crafts and sports activities to nature adventures, storytelling and poetry workshops, it's been fantastic to see so many families getting involved and making memories together.

There's still time to enjoy our final events and complete some of the fun challenges on the Cannock Chase Can App, so don't miss your last chance to get involved this summer.

We hope you've discovered new places, tried new activities, met new people and found inspiration to stay active, creative and connected all year round.

🚨 Consultation Drop-in Session Cancelled Today 🚨

Due to the weather warning for potential thunderstorms later this afternoon, today's Parks Rationalisation Consultation drop-in session regarding the three play areas in Chadsmoor has unfortunately been cancelled.

As the session was due to take place alongside the Cannock Chase Can Kids Club event at Cannock Stadium, and the main event has been cancelled for safety reasons, the drop-in session will also no longer go ahead.

We will be arranging a new date for the consultation session and will share details as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

🚨 Event Cancellation - Cannock Stadium 🚨

We're really sorry to share that today's event at Cannock Stadium has been cancelled due to the weather warning for thunderstorms later this afternoon.

We've been keeping a close eye on the forecast and, because the stadium is such a large open site with nowhere for visitors to shelter if the weather worsens, we've had to make the difficult decision to cancel in the interest of everyone's safety.

We're really sad to have to make this call. We've had an amazing summer and have been so lucky with the weather at all of our events, making this decision even harder.

The good news is that we'll be looking to reschedule another event in the future so we can return to the area and bring the fun back another day! ☀️
