⚡ APPRENTICE ELECTRICIAN VACANCY ⚡

C R Electrical – Campbeltown

We are looking to take on an Apprentice Electrician to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn the electrical trade and work towards becoming a fully qualified electrician.

The role will involve:

* Domestic, Commercial and Agricultural electrical installations
* Rewires and new installations
* Fault finding, testing and maintenance
* Heating and control systems
* Working alongside an experienced electrician
* A mixture of local work and occasional work away

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Reliable and punctual
* Hard-working with a good attitude
* Keen to learn and develop
* Able to work well as part of a team
* Comfortable working in different environments
* Interested in building a long-term career in the electrical trade

Previous electrical experience is not essential, but a genuine interest in the trade is important.

Training will be provided alongside the recognised electrical apprenticeship programme, with college attendance as required.

Huge thanks for everyone who voted for
Me at the spirit of Campbeltown awards this year it was an honour getting the prize 🙏🏆

I started out as an apprentice electrician after being given the opportunity by Archie and Fiona Smith at 16 . Taking that first step into the trade set me on the path I’m still on today, and I’ll always be grateful for that chance. Best boss I ever had hands down 🏆😃

A huge thank you as well to the tradesmen who taught me the ropes — Alex Docherty, Alex McAllister and George MacMillan. Between them they taught me everything from wiring houses to milk parlour installations at farms things I will never forget … and probably a few things I can’t repeat on Facebook! 🤣 💡

I also need to thank my excellent apprentice Ryan for putting up with me on a daily basis. It’s not easy working alongside me every day — but he manages it somehow! In all seriousness though, Ryan works hard, takes pride in the job, and is a real credit to the team The future’s in good hands 👌💪

To all my customers — thank you for trusting me to work in your homes and businesses. And to everyone who voted for me, I’m genuinely humbled. The support means more than you know 🙏🏆

Lastly, Cheryl — absolutely salt of the earth — thank you for organising such a brilliant night. A lot of work goes into these events and it definitely didn’t go unnoticed 👏🏻 👏🏻 🥃 🥃

I’m proud of where I started, grateful for everyone who’s helped me along the way, and excited for what’s still to come 😀😀
